Many fortresses in Europe have been built in a similar way, though Petrovaradin is the largest, extending over 110 hectares and it is preserved. For tourists there are a lot of interesting things to see: the Museum and Archives of Novi Sad, hotels and restaurants, ateliers and galleries of fine artists, the Academy of Arts, the Astronomical Observatory, the Planetarium and many other facilities.

This unusual clock is made so that people, and above all boaters, from a great distance, can see what time it is.
During the summer the festival "Exit" is held at the fortress. The largest and most visited music festival in Southeastern Europe has been held at the Petrovaradin Fortress for more than a decade and gathering lovers of quality sound from the country and the world. Exit festival has become a symbol of Serbia, good fun, socializing and enjoying...
